"After reading some bad reviews I was a little sceptical about here but to my delight I was very happy n amazed at the lodge we stayed in very clean had everything needed. The staff was very welcoming and happy to help in anyway. The toilets - well i walked in said "wow" best toilets iv seen anywhere. All in all this site is n was a good choice n I will be going bk..thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay x"

Local dining at the Hideout Bar excellent food and breakfast just a 5 min walk away . Good for the open air theatre cricket club and peasholme park . "A once grand hotel now showing it's age, the exterior could do with renovating as it looks untidy on first impression. Walk in and the interior is so much better, the staff are excellent and our room was very good. This is good hotel to stay at, the only drawback being the walk up and down the hill to and from Scarborough itself, but we were very satisfied with our stay"
