"Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but I’m glad they were included. The price was fair and good value."
"A beautiful hotel and spa, spottlessly clean and well maintained. Plenty of choice of food.
The hotel is in the pretty village of Bad Hofgastein with plenty of amenities and lovely views. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

"My stay at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding hospitality and first-class dining service I experienced. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with warmth and professionalism, making me feel truly valued. The restaurant’s food was phenomenal, with every dish prepared to perfection, offering a delightful culinary experience that rivaled top-tier establishments. A special shout-out to the manager, David Messina, whose personal attention to each guest was remarkable—he took the time to connect with everyone, ensuring we all felt welcomed and appreciated. I can’t wait to return!

"We had a lovely stay and would love to return sometime in the future. Our children loved the pool area, the food was great, and we had a great room. I only wish we were able to stay longer. "
