Top Stamford Hotel Reviews

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Huge lovely space in the Windsor suite. Good quality buffet breakfast. Possibly the best buffet breakfast we’ve had. Only downside was that the hotel still advertises squash, badminton, table tennis and table football but these were actually not really available, with a few of them dumped in a leaky squash court. That should be taken off the website."

"The reception staff didn't seem interested in the guests. The exception was Ashley who was excellent"

"Had a room in the old part of the hotel at the front which was a tad noisy from the traffic immediately outside. That said, everything else was good/excellent and this is a nice hotel in the centre of a lovely town."

Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

8/10 Good
"Our quadruple room was very clean and comfortable. It overlooked the golf course which was fun. The pool was great - our kids loved it. You were provided free pool towels every time you swam plus the changing rooms were brilliant - swimming costume dryers, lovely shower gel etc. The surrounding woods were brilliant for walks - our doggies loved it. The all you can eat style buffet breakfast was lovely - the kids especially loved the pancakes which you just had to ask for along side other cooked items like porridge and omelets. Check in was a little awkward as they wanted to charge £25 per dog per night (£100) which we weren't informed about via Hotels.com - the staff member insisted this was on the hotel website but I explained that we didn't book via the website. So in the end we had to keep the dogs in the open back of the pick up which wasn't ideal. Some younger members of wait staff were a little moody and unfriendly but in the whole it was fine."
