"We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. "Have stayed a few times over the years, the room was nice, but could do with a make over, and the shower needs something doing with it, it isn't a walk in shower, more like a climb in. Food in the restaurant was delicious, even though there wasn't a big choice, it was all delicious, the chef even made fresh apple sauce for one of the party. Hopefully next time we stay, we will see a difference min the room "
