The building itself is really an architectural mistake for the area and it was confusing to understand why such a modern building with no sympathetic alignment to the town would be allowed. The interior was the same a bit of a mismatched between modern and clean to retro in bars and other areas. Over all good but not great"

"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"
