"Breakfast was great, only issue was the AC did not work properly so the room was a little bit cold but nothing extreme. Overall great hotel for the area."
"We stayed for the evening because we needed a place to sleep for an early sporting event. The bed was clean, but the bathroom was very rundown. The paint was peeling on most of the walls, there were gaps in the wall around the old light fixture. The bathroom fixtures were clean though."
"I had 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom had no rug, floor sticky and disgusting, temp couldnt be adjusted. Room smelled like someone was smoking, and it was musty. There was no.shower gel in the bathtub either. I requested assistance none was given."
"The hotel smelled like smoke, there were stains all over the bed and sheets & the air in the hotel just felt damn. We immediately left as soon as we checked in"
"The first bedroom I entered was poorly lit and a bit shabby, but tolerable. However, the tub and shower area of the bathroom was shockingly unclean with built-up soap scum, dirt from feet, and possibly mold. The light switch was cracked and stained, and the tissue dispenser in the wall was rusty. The walls apparently used to have wallpaper and the residual wallpaper paste was never removed. They were crudely painted over, making the rough patches look like mold. There were holes in the closet walls and the doors had been removed from the frame for some reason. I went to the front desk to ask for a better room, and the attendant appeared to write down the concerns I listed. He said he had another room just a couple doors down from the original one, so it wouldn't be hard to move. When I entered the second room, it was as dim and even more shabby than the first. The bathroom's tub and shower area was equally dirty, with rusty or missing fixtures. By this time, it was late, I was exhausted, and it was stormy and cold outside. Thankfully, the heater worked so I decided to gut it out, sleep there, and certainly did not take a shower in the morning! I needed to leave early to get to a conference in a nearby town, so I didn't have time to complain directly to the front desk staff. It was the most poorly maintained hotel I have ever experienced! I wish I hadn't made the reservation on such short notice because it was listed as non-refundable. "
