"Quiet and comfortable rooms, the two person lift was a bit limiting. Spacious parkland with lots of hanging baskets (the vertical "Petunium" was spectacular) and a novel planting scheme in the borders. Inn was very convenient for Beamish Museum, within easy walking distance, where we spent a full good day out. Buses stopped outside the Inn which went to and from the museum if we had not been able to walk there or back.
