We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place. There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, when checking in. The room was very well kitted out, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, hairdryer, etc. will be booking again.

Did not get the room I booked originally
Really handy location for the Beamish open air museum.
Nice foot path next to pub
Inn was very convenient for Beamish Museum, within easy walking distance, where we spent a full good day out. Buses stopped outside the Inn which went to and from the museum if we had not been able to walk there or back.
Because of beamish museum and other attractions, some places need to up their game
