Nice people at the desk. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable! Breakfast was just enough.

I stayed at this Omni Hotel years ago and remember it being much nicer. Pros -- Great bed -- super comfortable, slept well. Great A/C unit in room. Nice shower. Cons -- Pool closed in middle of summer. No in-room utensils for grab and go meals. Limited trash facilities. There is straight theft going on at the parking garage attached. Self-parking signs claim to be "$30 Max daily limit", but each day I was charged $60 per day. I paid $120 to park a car for 2 days in the garage. Another nickel-and-dime issue -- no wifi included as standard? They charge $15/day for wifi. I complained about these issues to the customer service and they comp'ed the Wifi and issued a $50 credit to bill for no pool availability. Area around hotel has gone bad, with vagrants, homeless, panhandlers.

The personnel at the Front Desk and the Breakfast staff were very responsive, professional, and helpful. Ms. Montgomery was especially so. Housekeeping, however, left much to be desired. The rooms were not cleaned on a regular, daily schedule. Regular items such as bathroom and facial tissue had to be requested. One of the lights was not functional. A request for staff to fix the lights had to be made. Why? We were told that a request for daily cleaning should have been made when the reservations were initially made. This was new to us. We regularly stayed at Hampton Inn in past years. That was not the case. Although we made the request, there was no follow through. In any event, the staff at breakfast and at the Front Desk attempted to make the week long stay pleasant enough while on the premises. During the day, however, was spent at the nearby University.
