"Staff was great, room was exactly what we needed. Easy walk to train station, river walk, great restaurants and the Queen music venue. Area around the hotel is currently under construction so a little tricky to access. Free wi-fi requires signing up for a "Hilton Honors" account which results in lots of spam emails after your stay is over. Be warned."

"My wife and I spent one night at this hotel, as part of a leisure trip. We found the hotel to be very clean. There was a functional kitchen area in our room. There was ample parking, and someone walked the lot at night for security purposes. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. This hotel is a seven minute drive from the Wilmington Amtrak station. We will stay here again when we are in that area. The general area, in which the hotel is located, is in the process of being redeveloped and gentrified. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but morning coffee is available and free in the lobby. We did not see any nearby place to buy breakfast. I would suggest that the hotel offer danish, juice, donuts, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal/cereal &milk be made available, if guests desire, for a small add'l upcharge. This would help families with kids, and adult guests in a hurry."

"The hotel has obviously been newly refurbished. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, clean, and well designed. They had a small continental breakfast with coffee, juices, and pastries which was a nice touch and the staff said that they are planning to have a breakfast with more options in the coming weeks. The lobby and breakfast area were really nice. Beds were comfortable, but pillows were the basic small, square pillows that most hotels have decided to go with these days. Our "ding" for this property is that the doors seem to be having issues (we really had to push to get our room door to open both entering and exiting.) Staff said that because they are new, the seals are extra stiff so hopefully this is something that will improve over time. Overall, this is one of the nicer hotels in this area, and we would stay here again if in the area."
