"This was a charming place in the heart of the city. Yes it is loud at nights so if you're bothered by noise this place is not for you. This place also does not have an elevator, so if you have heavy suitcases and have problems carrying them up flights of stairs, again this place is not for you. We found the place, spacious and the location idea. There's plenty of great restaurants nearby and all the highlight places to visit are just minutes away by foot. "The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apartment who may not be as comfortable...

"Yes, this property is 220 years old, but it is magnificent. The living room is expansive and the bedroom is huge. And it is all decorated with care and appropriateness. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a table for two, if you don’t want to spread out on the full dining table in the great room. We particularly liked the pillows. There were dozen on the bed, and four sofas! We can’t wait to return."
