"We had such a nice time staying at the Malaga over the weekend. It’s not perfect, but it’s a gem for folks that aren’t too picky and like a little adventure. It is old-real keys for the doors, creaky staircases. The courtyard and the water fountain in the center are beautiful and the sound of the water flowing adds to the calming atmosphere.
It is very convenient to everything downtown-bars, restaurants, nightclubs and I felt very safe walking at night. Parking is free on site.
The energy is great there, almost magical. Brian at the front desk made himself very available and was eager to help. Ice machine wasn’t working-Brian brought us ice. Elevator not working, Brian offered to carry our bags up the stairs. We couldn’t figure out the remote, Brian to the rescue! So helpful!
We were a little concerned about the water temp until we figured out that the handle was reversed and hot is cold and cold is hot. Water pressure good. Clean sheets and towels. The air conditioner works great! Couldn’t hear sounds from other rooms. I really hope we get another chance to stay there again!"
