"I had heard from a coworker how awesome this property was. We were somewhat disappointed. The fit and finish on our door was terrible. It did lock, but you could see sunlight shining through on the side and bottom. The room was better decorated than a Motel 6, but the stains on the floor (carpet), pictures hung haphazardly, and noisy A/C were detractors of a quaint stay.
The breakfast was lackluster! They have a kitchen but served frozen platter eggs that were warmed, ditto for the sausage. A McDonald's breakfast sandwich has more visual appeal and taste. When advertising a full hot breakfast, this was sub par. We really thought a private establishment would be heads and shoulders above a chain hotel.
I know things are tough, costs are high, and work ethic is a thing of the past. Either I totally misjudged my coworker's standard or the company has really lost that magical "something".
The bedding and linens were clean and crisp. The security of the door was iffy, but a small town vs big city population helped us feel safe. The food could be improved with little additional effort and cost. Nothing was outdated and maybe I expected something closer to restaurant quality based on the description. Campus was clean and tidy.
I felt like my value was not equal to the price paid. We mostly enjoyed our one night visit. Should I try staying there again in a few months, I would hope our concerns were addressed. 3 stars!
Thank you!"
"The hotel was more than adequate and the breakfast was very good. The rooms are a bit small but everything worked fine. The elevator was briefly out one day but it was quickly repaired and management was very helpful
My only issue was that this property is right on the Beeline Hwy which is very busy throughout the day and much of the night. I'd suggest that you request a room as far from the street as possible."
"The best part about this place was Laura in the front desk. She was incredibly helpful during a very rough situation because of a bad bed and breakfast host. She was incredible."
"The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. It was a perfect place to rest for 1 night since we were driving through. It was a perfect location with plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. I would stay there again."
