This was our second stay at The Graduate. Great location to walk downtown and fabulous decor throughout the hotel.

The Graduate is always one of our favorite places to stay in State College. Their parking garage is higher than most which allows for a roof top carrier- great for university move in and move outs!

The front desk was so nice and helpful at check in. Location is perfect to take my son for a college tour of PSU.

What a cool place to stay if you are a Penn State student or alumni. Great staff, confortable beds, really great place to stay.

The Graduate was a very nice property with excellent staff. My only complaint was road noise, which was expected as it is on the corner of atherton and beaver. Would recommend the hotel.

The staff in the restaurant were very rude and extremely slow. We ended up walking out and not ordering this morning for breakfast They had one person working the restaurant last night and this morning. Service snail like.

Alice, I do apologize about your experience in the Trophy room, I will bring this to our F&B Directors attention so they are aware. That is not the type of service you are suppose to receive.
Loved it!! Perfect location to check out Penn St. No room service, but the restaurant downstairs is open til 10 pm and you can take your food and/or drink up to your room. Designed beautifully, super fun. Parking was easy. Staff was great. Would definitely recommend.

Some good, some bad. The hotel has a great location that can’t be beat. Parking is easy and available. The decor and aesthetic is great. The hotel is noisy. There is garbage pickup at 6 am on Saturday plus you can hear the neighboring rooms conversations. The bathroom and rooms need updating. The side tables were broken and the shower pressure is low.

I so much want to like this property, unfortunately, they have a noise problem. The windows seem to allow all the street noise to come through even when I stay on the sixth floor. They have no noisemakers and you can’t even run the HVAC fan to cover up the street noise.

Paul, I do apologize that people were loud out in the street. We do have ear plugs at the front desk also. The next time you stay with us, ask to be on the Atherton side of the building, usually is a quieter on that side.
The property was nice. I didn’t like the interaction with checking in. The young lady was very helpful but she gave me the wrong room. I booked a queen queen and was given a king. I immediately went back downstairs and the older man asked me why I couldn’t keep the king, which I found very rude because why do I have to explain to you what I booked and paid for. The elevator was slow coming to the 7th fl and our shower head had rust very visible.

Kia, I do apologize for the way this was handled. It sounds like you were handled by Nader when you came back down. My best guest was that he was not aware that you originally booked a double queen, and only saw the king, hence why he asked the way he did. I know sometimes he has a communication barrier. The good news is the elevators are being replaced this year and we will have new ones by end of year. Did you mention the shower head to the desk so they could of had engineering look at it for you?
We had ants in our room and when we asked to speak to a manager, we were told he was busy. We have emailed numerous times and have not received a response. The first night they were in the floor and appeared to be coming from the adjourning room. They came and vacuumed them up. The second night the ants were now in our bed and all over the room. We were not even offered an apology.

Brianna, I do apologize, no one informed me that you wanted to speak to me. I was told their were ants in the room and got with engineering, they then told me you just wanted a vaccuum to vaccuum them up and that you would stay in the room, I was going to move you rooms, but then I was told that. I do apologize this was not handled better.

Other than the location, the hotel lacks. The air quality and circulation is poor. It would be nice to see a hotel that charges so much actual offer something in the way of a continental breakfast. Offer coffee and water station in lobby area.

Alejandro, With a actual resturaunt in the building, having a continental breakfast breaks away from the business aspect. But I will join you in your fight for coffee. I have been fighting for this for the past year for our guest and will continue.
Very clean rooms and everything was in good condition. Next to campus so easy walk to on-campus event. In-door parking - considering the proximity to campus was a bonus.

We loved our stay at the Graduate in State College! The staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean. We love the ease of parking on the premises as well. Highly recommend!

Great boutique hotel conveniently located to Penn State. Huge room, very clean and updated. Staff was friwnsly and knowledgeable.
