The Queen has a warm and gregarious host who showed my kids how to use all of the Victorian toys in her collection, including the player piano! She had recommendations for dinner in the area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The beds were so comfy. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay in the Nanny's Attic room at The Queen. We felt very much at home thanks to the attentions of Nancy and her staff. Our room was beautifully furnished and was cozy and comfortable. The food (breakfast) was locally sourced and amazing. Nancy, our host, shared a wealth of knowledge of local history giving us many choices of restaurants and attractions to visit. The location was within easy walking distance of stores and restaurants in downtown Bellefonte; close to multiple state parks and natural areas; and less than 20 minutes from Boalsburg and State College. Staying at the Queen gave us a great appreciation of the neighborhood and surrounding community of Bellefonte and Centre county.

This is an incredible B&B with all sorts of books and crannies and history tucked all around. The room was very comfortable and our room (the governor’s suite) had its own sitting room in a furry that had a propane fireplace which was wonderful to unwind by. Our hosts were very friendly and even let me have my local sister come for breakfast so we could get more time together. Breakfast was yummy and the conversation stimulating. Would definitely stay here again!
