We stayed at this hotel within a few months of a serious hurricane that swept through the area. Some of the issues we had with the hotel were probably caused by the hurricane.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. From the filthy room, including stained comforters, mold in bathrooms, filth in the sink and bugs crawling I am surprised the health inspector would allow them to remain open.

The property needed repairs and was not sanitary. Property was very old, maintenance was very needed. I checked out the next morning after i arrived.

I wasn't looking for the Hilton - just clean sheets and towels. First room was terrible. Stains on sheets, pillows, etc. Dirty towels. Hair in multiple places. I took pictures. Front desk apologized and changed our room, and the second was better, but not by much. I never write reviews, really, but this one was needed. Would NEVER stay here again.

BEWARE

BEWARE! Horrible place to stay. I was scared to stay in my room and was supposed to stay 2 nights and only stayed 1. The night I did stay- there was a party in the parking lot right in front of my room. Parking spaces had been taken up with folding tables and they had tried to conceal it by parking a work truck horizontally in front of the spaces. I had reserved the non smoking room online and when I got to my room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and marijuana. I should have gotten the hint when I checked in and the lobby smelled like marijauna. The door to my room did not lock well- the room was filthy and stuff was stuck to the tiles floors and dead bugs everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting and the towels smelled. I was traveling alone and did not feel safe so I drove an hour away to a Hampton Inn for my 2nd night. I did not have any food there- would never eat there. If the room is this bad then the food would not be edible.
