"This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The biggest compliment I can pay it is that it felt like home. The staff were all outstanding and helped with places to visit and getting around. The room was superb, huge bed and so comfortable and clean. Stunning hotel with real character. A large carpark outside the hotel which was convenient, great selection at breakfast & dog-friendly rooms!
Lovely grounds at the rear of the building to walk our dog when he needed to go. "

"I’m disabled and they upgraded me to a ground floor room, very clean and comfortable with a walk in shower, I can’t get in or out of a bath!
But the beds are just too low, I had to drag a chair over to the bed to slide on and off the bed but that’s just me…
Checked in around 6pm and slept right through, finally got up 24 hours later and am sitting in the garden in amongst the rural woodlands for coffee and dinner!
