"One star, and I wish I could give less. From check-in onward, the front desk staff were stone-faced, monosyllabic, and visibly stressed — not a single welcoming word. My reservation included breakfast, yet at check-in the front desk neither handed me a breakfast coupon nor mentioned that one was required. When I asked about it the next morning, instead of a simple apology, the agent flipped the situation around and blamed me for not asking for the coupon at check-in. That is not customer service — that is gaslighting a paying guest. To top it off, the hotel charges $5 to store a single piece of luggage. Really? There is a card in the lobby proudly declaring “8 is the new 0.” The service I received does not come close to honoring that promise. They should take a hard look at what’s happening at this property."

"I was very disappointed when I check in the Hotel. The lady who check in for me said that my "Junior King Suite" is not available, she asked me to down rate to a Queen Suite. I told her that I want to have my Junior King Suite as I booked online. If that's not available than you guys shouldn't post online. I told her that I want to speak to a Manager she said she is the Manager. I told her that I stay in the hotel many times and I never have any problem before. Then she made me wait for another while then said let me have my Junior King Suite. That was the first time I have a bad experience when I check in. Other than that every else was Excellent. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Watergate. The indoor pool and hot tub were lovely, and the gym was great. The room was clean and very nice. The room service was a bit pricey, but tasty. When we had requests like extra blankets, they were delivered promptly."

"We had a very pleasant one-night stay in our room on the tenth floor. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The bedding was wonderful—excellent mattress, cozy comforter, and a choice of four quite different pillows. The floor was quiet; I didn’t hear a sound until morning. If you book through a third-party, have your Hilton Honors account number ready at check-in or be prepared to pay for internet service in the room. The name on the Hilton membership/account must be the same as the name on the hotel reservation."
