"Only problem we had was the bathroom floor was wet from the bathroom above us leaking water."

"We were on the first floor and the room above us sounded like they were having a dance-a-thon all night. The noise didn't stop. We were assured the following morning that it wouldn't happen again as there are construction workers staying there. It continued the next two nights. The sheets didn't fit the bed and the pillows were lumpy. Even had 2 wasps in the room next to the AC unit. Horrible sleep all 3 nights we were there! The breakfast was lacking in all categories, lack of choice, watered-down waffle batter, watered-down syrup, and watered-down orange juice. They shouldn't advertise that breakfast is included. We won't be staying there again!"

"My family and I had the best stay here! I was soo pleased with everything, from Steve being top-notch at the front desk to the amazing amenities (steam rooms, rainfall shower, two hot tubs and a great little gym!) the cleanliness of the room, the breakfast - was delicious, honestly the best continental breakfast I have ever had (ton's of options including two different types of waffles with toppings like strawberries and whipped cream) I left there feeling so refreshed and pampered from that stay! I would love to come back here and I highly, highly recommend to everyone!"

"The first room was not up to par, it was dirty and the bathroom was not clean. The front desk moved us to a different room that was better. They were very welcoming for pets. We at the on site restaurant and the food was very good."

"Parking was fine in front of the building. The food met our needs. But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed. They only take dogs now. It was to late to book with someone else so we had to scramble to find someone to take our cat. after going back and forth with Wingate they called the third party and Expedia change their information to only dogs. no good "

"The room was big with very comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure and was easy to use. The lobby was spacious and welcoming and the work out room was equipped with everything I needed."

"The only thing in the room that was clean was the bed, had a jacuzzi tub room and I had to clean it before it could be used, none of the surfaces were clean, we had only 2 towels 1 washcloth and no hand towels, when we got to the room the door was open and the phone did not work. This was our second stay within around a months time and I was very disappointed this time around. Breakfast was fine, no cream cheese option or peanut butter. However when I got back to the room with my food my key wouldn't work I had to leave my food at the end of the hall on a window seal to go back down to have a new key made. "
