"We had a very late check in which we let them know in advanced and was fine. When we arrived one of the two rooms were not cleaned, however the staff were extremely helpful and managed to sort it out quickly and moved to a different room. Very happy with the service we received. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and have had a lovely time both times. Breakfast was great too"

"Arrived on a Sunday for work the next day. Booked here as really convenient for where I was going on the Monday and the Indian restaurant had good reviews. Very disappointed to find the restaurant shut and breakfast the next day was served from 8am not 7. I went on the website and couldn’t find this information. Staff were really friendly and professional. The bar was small and some locals were in watching football which was entertaining. I had a few pints of Stella which were under £6 a pint, another redeeming feature :)"

"As a very regular, lone female traveller for work: Positives - a mechanical door lock that can only be opened from the inside; a bath(!); no shortage of hot water; hair conditioner (a rare and very welcome find!); decent hairdryer; an iron in the room; lovely lighting; beautiful furnishings; quiet location; plugs & usb sockets right near the bed. Negative - although the roman blinds and curtains are lovely, a net for privacy to allow light in while not showing your bum to the cars on street wouldn't go a miss!; lowering the shampoo/conditioner so you can reach it in the bath, not just the shower; Smart TV doesn't connect to Netflix/Prime etc; no breakfast served mon-thurs - an in-room continental option like a packet crossiant and jam would be ideal. Would definitely stay again."

"Plus: the staff are great, the food good. negative: : the rooms need a revamp, We had luke warm water on day one and cold water day 2 ( reported to receptionist who was the only member of staff that showed little interest!!) and a rattling bedroom window that had to be stuffed with a bath mat. The lift!!!!! Well that is an experience!!! Plus: there were plenty of parking spaces. That’s my review, it a sandwich of good, bad and good."
