"This was a surprising gem. We were so pleased with our stay. It was just overnight but the room was so clean, everything available to us in the room was a nice plus. There was a mall next door we needed. They allowed all 3 of our dogs and the outdoor area was great. I wish there were more of these available."

"The room was clean and spacious. Showers are nice. Getting towels was not good experience. 1: There are no signs about shortages, no mention of reusing towels. So after the first night- Housekeeping didn't bring them. Went to the desk for them 2 nights and the guy was rude and mouthy. First night said there wasn't enough towels for everyone. Second time shook his head at me when he seen me coming towards the desk and said I'm gonna run them out of towels! Like we're paying customers. Why are saying anything to me like that... I should have towels in my room."

So much history in the walls and love how they’ve restored it. Wish I got to try the breakfast but just from the smell I know it’s delicious! 100% would come back."

"The owners were excellent! They know so much about the area and are full of wonderful stories. Would love to hear more of them sometime. My dog and I stayed one night and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable, and it was a nice quiet location with plenty of grassy areas to walk my dog around. Really nice to have the full fridge and freezer available in the separate full kitchen to store my food items. A lot of interesting memorabilia and photos in the house as well. A few things to note that Expedia does not tell you: this is a cash only location. Luckily I had enough to cover my one night, but it is something I wish had been listed. The owners are not onsite as this is not a B&B, and not a regular hotel. They answered the phone immediately and are only a few blocks away so can be there very quickly, so calling ahead by a few minutes will ensure someone is there when you arrive. I didn't know this until I was already there, so it would have been helpful to know. Note there are steep, somewhat narrow steps up to the rooms, so if you can pack an overnight bag it will be easier than carrying luggage up and down those stairs. Room does have a window AC unit and fan, but I still got warm overnight. Main thermostat is set at 76, so a bit warm for my tastes, but since it was late September it wasn't awful with the fan and window unit. Summer may be a different story, so fair warning for those who don't like it overly warm, you may struggle with that."
