"It was fine. Everything was clean and in decent condition, but the room definitely smelled like pee. There were also some sketchy characters around after dark, but luckily they mostly ignored me."

Cell service is very spotty.
Not a problem if you stay at the lodge but it causes problems if you venture into one of the nearby towns for meals (their onsite restaurant is not very good.) or if you’re planning on hiking the back country."
"Excellent location. Just minutes from Mammoth National Park. We were able to go back and forth to take breaks easily. Super clean and has everything you need to make meals. Laundry on site was very helpful to clean our clothes after hiking, cave tours and kayaking. You have privacy yet you are located close to everything (fast food/Walmart, etc. 15 minutes away). "
