Cottages on River Road

"Lovely set of cottages and property. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included an assortment of quiches, pre-made breakfast sandwiches, cereals, muffins, and yogurt. The room was comfortable and clean. The cottages are across the street from the river, about 1.0 mile from town, and a short walk from a nice brewery that also provides river access. I will definitely return."

"We stayed for one night on our way to the Coast. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room clean and tidy. It had all the amenities we needed and is next door to a very nice restaurant."

"Our room was very clean, I always pull of the sheets back at every hotel and check thoroughly. It’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a long time. The views were gorgeous, we were here during off season so we missed the river amenities but it was gorgeous. We stayed in the garden suite with a full bed, plenty of room and was very nice, heater and fan was included in the room. My only complaint was that there was no plug in, in the bathroom and there were no other mirrors in the room, so it made it a bit hard to straighten my hair. But this is a very minor issue to an absolutely GORGEOUS stay. Staff was very friendly and offered several things to do in the area as well as took an interest in our plans."

"Rustic bungalow near entrance to the river. Beds were cozy and comfortable, we slept well, bathroom was clean. Nice patio in front of room, which is on the 2nd floor. Beautiful property! And local shops are within walking distance. Negative: no screens on the windows, which we could open but had to close in the evening due to mosquitoes, one desk fan provided, the room was uncomfortably warm when we arrived. One desk lamp for light in the bungalow, one light in the bathroom. I recommend this resort and give it a B+ because except for these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and will return. Next time we’re bringing an extra fan and desk lamp 😁"

"Spent a lovely and relaxing weekend at the Inn. They are truly dog-friendly, which was important for us. The staff was friendly but not intrusive, the rooms were comfortable, and there were cute amenities like afternoon popcorn, lit fire pits, and s’mores. The area has lots of food options, some walkable and many within a short drive. I’ll definitely return."
