"Upon arrival at the Dakota Hotel, I found it an odd. It was square with black windows all way around it. When you enter the front door, there are theatre curtains to enter into the lobby. The room was small and modern and clean. The food, both breakfast and dinner were very good. The staff is what made my stay really pleasurable. It was my last stay in Scotland before returning home and I found it easy to make it to my day tours by bus and taxi really easy. The staff went out of their way to help me send a package back home and I really appreciated it. Well done!"

"The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff was lovely. The room was perfect. The coffee machine at the entrance was a lovely touch and tasted great. So much of the machines taste yuck but for £1 coffee was excellent value. Would 100% go back. I have MS so would have preferred to be closer to shops but thats because my walking isnt great. For those who dont have mobility issues its within walking distance of so much places. But ubers were super fast picking us up so it wasnt an issue. And if you have a family or like more room with room with kitchenette, sofa (sofa bed) more single chair, a long area with huge mirror that lit up was great for doing makeup or if you wanted to do some work. Fab hotel"

"I love staying in this hotel, it has all I need. The one criticism I have and it is big for me is the gym is poor! The three treadmills have not been serviced as the tread belts are jerky unless you run at over 6mph/10kph min this can be injury inducing. The free weights are none existing and there are no mats for core work. People on travel for work deserve the facilities to keep fit."

"This was the largest room we've had by far since our arrival in Scotland. The location is great for getting to pedestrian friendly shopping and dining, as well as bus, subway, and train stops. We spent three nights and were very comfortable."

"Just a one night stay in Glasgow to go see Iron Maiden at the OVO arena. This was my first time staying at the Social Hub. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre in the Merchant City district. Very modern and clean throughout. The room was fairly compact but was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were courteous and helpful. "
