The location of the hotel was excellent as was the room and cleanliness. It’s a stunning hotel with great decor. My only small complaint was the bar. Packed until late on Friday and Saturday night so unable to use it, when we were able to get a drink on the Sunday the staff were almost rude, it wasn’t somewhere you could unwind at the end of the day.

Great location! The hotel had really good bar and an additional cafe that was very cute. The cleaning was ok (they forgot to change our used glasses and towels a few times). The hotel was very nice although the room was very small

Great breakfast, clean and spacious room. Good stay overall, but would have liked some usual amenities - there was no cotton pads, q-tips, shower cap, etc. which I would have expected. Great location though.

Really loved this place and feel like I lucked out because I was able to get such a great price! It was clean, in a great location, and the decorations in both the room and the rest of the hotel were lovely. The hotel restaurant, Greta’s, was great too! Overall a great pick and I would love to stay here again!

Even the foldout is comfy. We were 3 friends who stayed together so we got a really big room with a double bed and a foldout couch that could fit two. And we all slept great. Since we got put in a big room it came with extra perks, and it was a lot of fun to learn how the record player worked and listen to old school U2 as we were getting ready. Staff is friendly and the breakfast delicious.

Really close to the main walking streets where you all the shops and restaurants. The building next to the market square was under maintenance so during our trip the surrounding wasn't as pleasant as expected but I would suspect that it's really nice when that work is finished. The hotel itself was really nice and had this old film start luxury elements to it. I would definitely go again.

Scandic Haymarket for tourists

The location was great- very central. Desk staff were very helpful. Air conditioning in our room was so-so!! Asked for Kleenex but never got any. Would be better to have face cloths to use for your face or to shower as using the hand towels to do that was awkward. Would have been nice to know that yes there are elevators but also can be stairs on the room floors to manouver if you have mobility issues.

Great location - easy walk from the station, an easy walk to key attractions plus the Hop On Hop Off bus stops just outside. Rooms are compact (I'm glad I wasn't sharing), but there was a wardrobe with sufficient hanging space and the bathroom includes liquid soap, moisturiser, showergel, shampoo and conditioner. There's a kettle, tea, coffee & milk, an iron and ironing board in the room. A drawer or two would be useful though. The 'Do Not Disturb' sign falls off easily - wrap the elastic around the doorhandle multiple times if you don't need anyone to come in, otherwise you'll come back to find your towels have been changed even if you'd hung them up. Breakfast had plenty of choice, with hot options, meat slices and cheeses, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, crackers and breads, although the omelette station could be better signposted. None of our group actually had champagne for breakfast, but bottles are available near the waffle station. The bar area has comfortable seating. I didn't go to the gym, but it's a pity there's no sauna in the hotel. An email asking for info finally got responded to whilst I was on my way to Sweden, which was a bit late to revise my packing.
