"This hotel is simply stunning, set on one of the most beautiful beaches imaginable. The location is perfection just a leisurely 5–10 minute stroll brings you to the finest restaurants along the sea walk. The property itself is truly unique, offering an experience unlike any other. It offered the best of best of everything you ever imagined from a beach getaway. The pool as well was stunning. Definitely worth your money. The breakfast buffet was beyond magnificent. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Podestine. The staff were friendly. Being near the sea was brilliant. However, I'd advise sea shoes due to sea urchins nearby (our son stepped on one and needed to have them removed). The rooms were okay, but the hotel was a bit dated. But it lived up to the 4-star rating. The bedding could have been better as the duvets/sheets were too small for the beds (no overhang). The breakfast choices were fine, but the coffee machine was broken (it is worth removing that, as a few reviewers had also commented). Dinner at the restaurant was not as good as eating out - it doesn't come close to some of the options, but it is pricey. This is a solid hotel, we would stay again, but probably use the mini-bar and hotel beach bar much less, as prices were high and do not show on the receipt at the end of each day, so that can be a bit of a shock to the system. Overall, it is a good base from which to either launch out and explore Hvar, or to chill by the sea in relative peace and quiet. "

"Simply put, this hotel is the best in split. It’s in the middle of old town, everything is walkable. The hotel is kept in immaculate shape. Everything in it is upgraded. The rooftop is amazing it gives you spectacular views of the city. The staff is unmatched. I never write reviews but this hotel definitely deserves one. "

"We stayed here for a couple of nights. Check in was easy and efficient. The room wasn’t ready, but we were early and were able to store our luggage and make use of the pool area on the roof. The area is compact, and gets busy. We were lucky to grab a couple of sun beds as someone left almost as soon as we arrived. The room was large and well appointed. It was described as looking over a courtyard. In reality, it’s a car park that belongs to the hospital which this hotel backs directly on to. Patients can see the hotels rooms, and likewise we theirs. Don’t be put off though, the privacy drapes and the curtains are enough. Breakfast was in good, as you’d expect for a hotel of this type. Didn’t use the bar or evening restaurant, but I expect they had a good offer. The hotel itself is a little on the edge of Split town, and a 15 - 20 walk in which is uphill in parts. We’d stay again. "It was a stunning hotels with lovely views across the bay. The staff collected your luggage from the ferry (on request) and delivered it to the hotel. It’s a short walk along the front into the picturesque town. Lots of choices for breakfast and good quality food. Would highly recommend."
