Houses, Eythrope Road These houses are on the edge of the village of Stone from where the road is coming. At this point, behind the camera, the road becomes a private road to Eythrope Park though it is a bridleway and is on the route of the Midshire's Way and Swan's Way.

Former chapel at Stone, Buckinghamshire. This was the chapel of the former St John's psychiatric hospital. The hospital has been demolished and replaced by houses. The chapel is to be converted into three private homes.

Village Pond, Stone. Opposite 247368 is this duckweed covered pond with reed-mace (often incorrectly referred to as bullrushes) much in evidence in the foreground. The pond lies in the angle created between the Bishopstone and Oxford Roads.

Great room in the old cells. Staff were very good. We dropped our case in the morning and it was in our room when we returned to check in. Only quibble, restaurant area for breakfast isn't great. Cooked breakfast should come with toast rather than having to make your own.
