"This is a very beautiful place, and the setting is just magnificent; however, cutting down a few stray trees would have significantly made the scenery more beautiful. From our room, the multi-state view was obstructed by 4 trees that did not look that hard to cut down (slim). The view from the restaurant, however, was breathtaking. I feel like management could make a few modifications to bring in more customers.
The food was not the greatest, but we spent only one night, so maybe it was just a one-off. That said, the amenities for kids were amazing! They have a game room with multiple things to play such as pool, skeet ball, checkers, etc, and they have an outside basketball court and pool. The trails looked awesome too, but we did not have time to take advantage of them. NOTE TO MANAGERS: clean up the room views to the mountains, and you will get more recurring customers. The picture posted is from the restaurant, not our room. This view was blocked by trees from our room. :("
