"Front desk was open very late, thankfully. I needed to work out of state and didnt get done with the job until 7 p.m., it was also 2.5 hours away. Deposit was returned to my card promptly, which shouldn't be a talking point but I've been scammed out of it before. Didn't eat breakfast so I have no opinion on that. Shower was nice, the infrared in the bathroom worked, and the mirror was modern. Overall great stay."

"This hotel has a retro aesthetic. It is slightly awkward, yet cozy overall. It had a full size coffee pot but only a four cup coffee pod available for use. The coffee pot was set appropriately on a table near an outlet but the outlet didn’t t work. The hair dryer appeared to be a wall unit but it was set in the bedroom dresser drawer. The bathroom appeared freshly painted yet there were paint streaks and specks all over the vanity. There were two shampoos set out rather than a shampoo and conditioner and the lotion was partially used. The lighting included an overhead light and a single lamp, making it only very bright or very dark. It feels like a blend of the past with a few elements of the new—a pieced together array forming an overall unit that is functional but not user convenient. Positively it’s very clean. The staff person was very friendly. It was physically warm (yet with only an on or off option regarding temperature control). Not within the hotel’s control—my sleep was interrupted around 3:00 a.m. by a local train that made a good deal of noise too early. The train kicked up again around 5:00 a.m. so slept wasn’t great. Lastly, the hotel staff appear to leave at midnight (per their signage/information) due to staffing shortages. I think I may have been the only person in the entire hotel after the front desk person left at midnight, which was kind of uncomfortable, yet I still stayed. It was okay overall but I’m not sure I’d stay again especially at the cost. "

"My room was excellent. I wasn’t in the new part but that was still very nice. Hotel waitstaff all of the employees were very accommodating… genuinely nice and helpful."

"It’s an older building, however it was clean. They are redoing rooms to update them. It was relaxing and comfortable. Great place to stay."

"The staff made our whole stay! Fantastic front desk staff that really made sure our children and us had a great stay even if we arrived late in the evening. The room was clean and breakfast was as expected at this kind of hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Nice pool area with a little extra!"

"Hotel was nice! Large pool, just a heads up if going when it’s cold outside it is cold in the building and rooms especially the pool room, room heaters do not auto adjust to temp they either stay on or u shut it off. Breakfast was great! The pool was warm and so was the hot tub but the jets on the tub do not work. All in all was a good stay! "
