"The hotel is old and run down. The pool is ok. the hot tub was hot but the jets don't work. The slide was ok. The breakfast room was very small and had cereal, toast, bagels, waffles and boiled eggs. The elevator did not stop anyone from going wherever they pleased.. so.. homeleas people, drug dealers and other interesting people could go and do whatever they pleased. That does not work for an hotel with so many children present."

"I booked a 3-night stay for my family at Royal Hotel West, which has always been our go to place because of our great previous experiences. Unfortunately, this recent stay was quite disappointing. I requested a top floor room to avoid footstep noise. However, we were assigned a room right next to the elevator without being asked if that was okay. Our first night turned into a nightmare. There was nonstop noise between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. The ice maker kept refilling, people were coming from the bar and loudly gathering near the elevator—talking, shouting, and running in the hallway. To make things worse, the air conditioning in our room was so loud it sounded like an airplane taking off. The next morning, I requested to move to another room. Emma and Mina from the front desk were very understanding and handled our request graciously. Unfortunately, the new room also had issues as there was a lot of hair on the bed, and the sheets were obviously crinkled, suggesting they hadn’t been changed. When I brought this up to the supervisor, she said it was from the laundry and didn’t offer to replace the bedding, which was disappointing. After that, the rest of our stay was peaceful, and we were finally able to rest well. On a positive note, the breakfast staff were fantastic, very polite, attentive, and the breakfast itself was delicious. The dining area’s ambiance was also wonderful, which helped end our stay on a better note."

"The property has been renovated and is nice . The lobby is welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is worth the up charge because the hotel is quite isolated and if it offered a good selection of freshly prepared food . Most of the staff we interacted with were pleasant . The housekeeping service in our room was unacceptable. I cant recommend this Hilton based on our experience. "

"This hotel is in a great location and their free breakfast isn’t just a continental breakfast. It’s a proper breakfast with bacon, eggs, etc. the specific items do change rooms are a great size"
