"The hotel is a gem. It has a lovely feel to it inside and out. The breakfast is wonderful and dinner a delight. The seating areas plentiful and to have the fire lit in the lounge in the evening although perhaps a little early really lovely. The stairs but challenging for ladies of a certain age. The prospect of a separate toilet and shower a little off putting but in our case immediately across from our very comfortable and delightful room so actually no problem at all. Easy access to ironing board and iron and staff who were only too happy (it seemed) to take your luggage to your room and in due course collect. We were very pleased particularly with the artist connection to stay there. The food, the service and the bedding quality. We loved our stay and would go back. Skagen itself is special."

"Cet endroit est extraordinaire et je m'y suis sentie bien dès mon arrivée! Le design est épuré et soigné. Ma chambre était propre, bien aménagée et très confortable. Le buffet petit-déjeuner est de qualité et varié et il y a sur place un resto-bar ainsi qu'un restaurant plus gastronomique. J'ai trouvé très agréable de pouvoir utiliser le spa et le sauna pour un bon moment de détente en soirée. Je recommande fortement cet établissement!"

"We were upgraded to one of the apartments, which was a wonderful surprise. New and very clean. Bedrooms there on small side—we were on top floor under the eaves, but we had so much other space that it didn’t matter. Very practical location too."

"Just a perfect spot in the end of the continent. Very authentic and cozy. The atmosphere is amazing. Very close to the beach, religiously clean, romantic and lovely. Not so difficult to get into, just an hour and half drive from the airport. Recommend it with all my heart"

"This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are so friendly and care so much. Upon check-in we were guided through a map of the area with all the highlights. Our room was spacious with a small patio with table and chairs. Extremely well appointed room with everything we needed during our stay. Cozy bed. Sitting area. Bar fridge. The breakfast is incredible. Fresh and high quality with lots of selection. We greatly appreciated this added bonus. We highly recommend this gorgeous retreat and we hope to be back again!
