Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "This booking was a disaster. Due to medical emergency had to cancel Contacted Hotels,com to say wasnt going and tried to get the booking deferred but the client would not allow it. The client is not the pleasant couple who own the property but a company in Holland with a 1 star reputation. On booking got a flood of e-mails and documents from Holland with a huge list of does and donts. The contract was with Hotels.com not some company that would never have chosen to do business with. "Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "I was fortunate to have a front facing triple room which was huge! The view out of the window over the bay was excellent. There is a lift but it is a very old one and only takes one person at a time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is free, but only on the street and first come... Breakfast was included and fabulous. Evening meal not included and I struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday night. The recommended hotel stopped at 6pm and I ended up in a KFC which would not have been my first choice. That is not a criticism of the hotel, just a fact. "

"The Glengower is excellently situated, right on the promenade/beach. It offered a full hot breakfast and the pub itself offers a large and sophisticated menu. Everything we tried over the 3 days we were there was excellent. The parking may be a bit if a problem as the promenade road is very narrow but we found a good spot in the end. The room we had was comfortable tho a little tight.. the staff and service was excellent. We unfortunately did not have a sea view, but I will definitely suggest getting one as the view is excellent. "
