"The host was welcoming and friendly that she led us to the chalet when we got lost. Everything was tidy and neat from bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room. The hob is easy to use and both the dishwasher and the washing machine were working well and clean. The heater and the boiler were functioning well which were important after experiencing bad weather outdoor. My family had a good time there, which was a good base to visit Scottish Highland and Isle of Skye."

"They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment it was great! I only wish we were staying there for more than one night"

"Clean and nice room but too hot and no ways to cool down because one window was screwed shut. Breakfast was very nice. No staff on arrival even though it was 4pm when guest arrive for checking in. No way to ring for attention either. Same issue issue when trying to get drinks from bar - maybe understaffed. But then staff was very attentive when available."

"The communal areas were decorated in keeping with a classic highland theme which was good. The room although clean and comfortable would benefit from modernisation. Breakfast was decent with a mix of fried and continental options. The car park was full when I arrived which was late evening to be fair and there was plenty of street parking around."

"Liked the ambience of a former posh resort but with the maze of hallways and slanted floors it was much like walking in a carnival funhouse. Ample parking and walking distance to a cafe Very limited dinner menu and not cheap but very good. Bed was too small and room very cramped but functional. A fridge would’ve been nice. Close to some tourist attractions and a lot of history in the town itself."

"Very convenient location! 2 night stay. Nice room. Great buffet breakfast. My only issue was that I was not informed at checkin that the room would not be cleaned automatically. But I had enough towels and they took my rubbish away and provided extra sugars when I requested. They also pre booked a taxi for me. Thankyou."
