"Excellent dog friendly hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road so highly recommend booking a lakeside room which are much quieter, large and have a good view. Whilst the hotel is quite tired, for the price we paid and service we received, it represents good value. Meals in the bar well priced too. "

"We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but it was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.
There is no parking space at the hotel but there is a pay and display car park very close by.
£6.60 which gives you up to 18 hours.

"Room was excellent.. very clean and great view of the harbour - the entrance - lift and first floor area carpet needs cleaning / replacing as pretty dirty and walls could do with a paint … the staff are fabulous , food excellent and ambience is brilliant ! Breakfast delicious too! "

"The rooms and I say rooms because we had to refuse the first room which had faulty central heating, excessive water on bathroom floor and a bed with worn out mattresses. To add insult to injury they threaten to call the police instead of offering another room when my wife complained.
The second room also had flooded bathroom, broken TV, faulty window and faulty heating we endured the three nights but will never return. "
