"We just had a beautiful 1 night stay with Karolyn & Chris in a very yummy room in a quite delicious & absorbing house. The welcome (includes a chocolate), service, friendliness, the bed, the breakfast (oh yeah THE breakfast - especially the Porridge) & their 2 dogs, who are extremely friendly, after an initial bark when arriving, made the overall experience one weโll never forget & will be telling other travellers to just book in & enjoy. The property is National Trust listed & is quietly tucked away about 2 miles from the town of โNewmacharโ being 12 miles from โAberdeenโ. It was a pleasure Karolyn & Chris meeting & staying with you at โDisblairโ & we wish you both every success in the future. Cheers Steve & Carina"

"Fabulous stay, very querky and very interesting link to Bram Stoker. The staff kindly let us see the visitors book showing Bram Stokers entry and made for a good couple of hours browse if u like that kind of history. Also close to Slains Castle, just a short walk away. Very enjoyable stay."
