"I loved this place! It was located in a very quiet part of greater Tokyo and it was really nice and easy to walk around the neighborhood. I especially liked how close to it was to different restaurants and Oji Station. Please take advantage of the late nights walks you can go on and enjoy each detail because it is what makes this place so special. Will for sure book again if I go back to Japan anytime soon. "The room was exactly as described and the area of Kameari is beautiful and very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, kombini's and even a mall and train station within walking distance. My only complaint about the room as an American is the bed and pillows being too hard for my comfort. I had to add an extra mattress pad for my preference. "As expected from a Dormy, I love the amenities that come with your stay. They have a very extensive manga library with the usual popsicles/yogurt drinks, along with a microwave and laundry facilities. Bath area felt small, but works for the space. I especially loved the shampoo bar and the lookout window in the outdoor bath! Mineral bath and scented sauna were also nice perks along with the energy/sports drinks available in the change room. They also have their complimentary late night snack noodles and drinks in the lobby. The location isn't the closest to the nearest station, but there's plenty of combinis, a 24hr grocery store and shopping nearby. It's a great area if you want to do some anime shopping with the flagship Animate and a ton of other anime-related stores near by. Overall, the location requires a little walking, but it's nice and quiet. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with checking in. I didn't interact with them much, but my initial encounter was friendly, professional and very welcoming, especially arriving from Narita. Will definitely look forward to staying at this Dormy Inn location again!"

"A really good upper scale hotel in a bustling Tokyo neighborhood. Mostly importantly, the staff was amazing, and there was always at least one English speaker to help you solve challenges. We had a typical compact Tokyo room where we didn't have control of the Air Conditioning thermostat. As a result, the room was often stuffy. If you ask for a fan at the desk they will be happy to help. Also be prepared to wait for the hotel's single elevator or just plan your day around it. If you don't have dietary issues, it's worth it to get the breakfast at the adjoining ramen restaurant. It's very good. Overall, this hotel is great and very affordable."

"The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly overall and the front desk staff spoke English, which I by no means expect but certainly appreciate. The place was nice, clean and well maintained. It was convenient to many shops and restaurants and just z few minutes walk from Omiya station. The AC worked great! The bed was comfy. Would stay again in terms of the hotel. The area around it was certainly full of shops and restaurants but if one wished to be near the more mainstream and high end areas this is not quite like Shinjuku or Shibuya. But this was a but less hectic than those areas so that could be good!"

"Lovely hotel, lobby, room and roof spa. Japanese breakfast buffet was sensational. But the TV isn’t good for non-Japanese speakers. The HDMI have been disabled, There are no English channels and there is no way to cast/airdrop your device to their tv. These days in a modern hotel, it should be a standard feature."
