"This ryokan was beautiful with a spacious room and great mountain views. The onsen was particularly nice with indoor and outdoor mineral baths, a cold plunge, and a sauna. There was also a private shower in our room if you aren’t interested in the onsen experience. The half board was good but served traditional local Japanese food - great for the adventurous eater but it may not be for everyone. Though I found enough familiar things to feel full at dinner and breakfast. It was a special place, great for relaxation but probably not appropriate for children. We wished we had more days there to soak in the natural surroundings and just relax. "

"This is the place to relax and have a recharge day in the middle of a trip. We checked in after a day of hiking and instantly relaxed, and decided to stay on property the next day. The onsen facilities were great, the buffet fantastic, the views beautiful, the staff very friendly. Make sure you either have plans during the day or a book to read, as there is nothing to do at the property between 9 and 3. I had a book and just spent a peaceful day reading in between onsen hours. Loved it, and would come back again if I visited that area."

"This is a hybrid between a Japanese style and western style hotel. You have to take your shoes off to approach the reception and to go up to your room, but then have the conundrum of how to roll your luggage up the ramp to reception (which starts from beyond the shoes off area), could have done without it when I arrived tired after my journey. Staff very friendly and speak English. The room was comfortable and I liked the onsen which I used twice. The breakfast buffet was very good."

"If I could give a 6 stars for staff I would, everyone was so friendly and the service was incredible. The only thing that let the property down was the old carpets but that was very minor "

"It was within comfortable walking distance from INAKITA station. It was the only available closest hotel when i booked for a last minute trip here a few days before. I found a familiar restaurant, SUKIYA nearby where I had my delicious lunch. Happen to stumble upon a cosy McDonald’s when I was exploring the area near Ina park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! There is a direct bus to the Takato Castle Ruins at Inakita Station. See the bus timing chart. Hotel was like a resort with a very nice public bath. The room is spacious, comfy with the usual Japanese standard toilet & bath."

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The view from the window was stunning, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot spring. The onsen was well-maintained, with crystal-clear, soothing water at the perfect temperature. The serene setting made it the ideal place to unwind after a long day. There were both indoor and outdoor options, allowing me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while soaking in the warm, mineral-rich water. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of fresh and well-prepared dishes. The overall service was top-notch, and every staff member I encountered was polite and eager to help. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with comfortable accommodations and an amazing hot spring experience, I highly recommend Komagane Kogen Resort Linx. "I've used this hotel many times for more than one week at a time, but they never greet me such as "Welcome back!" or "Thank you for using the hotel always." They are always too business like. I hope they are a bit more friendly. The hotel is very comfortable to stay though!"
