"Wonderful Family Resort with Plenty of Amenities
Harbor Resort at Patriots Point is a wonderful place to stay, especially for families or anyone planning an extended trip. While it is an older hotel, the property is well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Daily housekeeping and room turnover were also appreciated.
One of the biggest advantages is the number of amenities available. With multiple pools, bikes available to use, and other on-site conveniences, you can easily spend your time enjoying the resort without needing to leave. The location near Patriots Point is another plus and makes exploring the area enjoyable. The included ice cream and drink token for the on-site general store were nice added touches that made the stay feel even more special.
My only real complaint is the shower design in many of the rooms. The rooms have tubs with glass panels covering roughly five-eighths of the tub, but no full shower door. As a result, water can easily spray onto the bathroom floor while showering. Improving this design would make the rooms much more functional.
Overall, this is a fantastic resort for a family vacation or an extended stay. The amenities, convenient location, comfortable beds, and helpful staff make it a place I would happily recommend. With a small improvement to the shower setup, the experience would be even better."
