Spacious room with a balcony. Functional bathroom and wardrobe. Cons are that the shower head had such poor water pressure that we always had to use the rain shower. The fridge was also not cold at all. The aircon also had some issue where it felt so warm even when we adjusted the temperature lower; some mornings we woke up sweating! Also, the TV was tiny and had limited channels. The best part of the hotel was the location - just a short walk away from the street with the popular eateries and...

Really big room and great service from the staff even though we checked out in the wee hours at 4am, the security was there. It was ramadan season and they even provided ear plugs worrying that the prayers may affect our sleep, even mozzie repellant was given and the bathtub is just so comfy! LOVE IT

away from the more crowded Malioboro street, about 10 mins away by taxi. For those who don't really like the crowds, this is perfect! 15 mins away from the Prambanan and 40 mins away from the Borobudur.

This is not international five star but it’s comfortable, quiet (cannot year the street (at least of your room is in the block furthest from the road) and above all it has a local interesting thoughtful charm to the design, fixtures and furnishings that feels more local than the more generic global designs that could be in
any city. The showers are not great (lacks power and takes while for hot water to come through) and the hotel reception area looks a bit tired but overall it made for a better...

Overall meets expectation. Wanted a quiet place far away from busy traffic and that is what I got. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Though their ways of communicating is a bit hard to understand for those who are not used to speaking in Bahasa. The aircon started off slow, it took almost an hour or so to get the room to a cooling temperature but once you settle down and wait, it gets cold.the food are nice. Breakfast that was served at the lounge was delicious and had lunch at its...

Definitely deserves its 4-star rating. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast spread, and lovely (though very cold) pool. Grateful for the hospitality too!
In terms of location, you will need to take Gojek (private hire vehicles) around anyway and it’s a good and central spot for pickups.

Our stay at Manohara Hotel was amazing from start to finish. Nandy and Lili provided exceptional customer service, upgrading our room to VIP, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The rooftop pool was a definite highlight—relaxing with stunning views of the city. The bedrooms were spotless, the AC was powerful, and everything felt fresh and comfortable.
Breakfast each morning was a treat with a lovely mix of local and international dishes. The variety and quality were top-notch.

We had a very relaxing stay inn the tranquil hotel and surrounding grounds. Room was good, bed a bit lumpy and some signs of aging but oveeall very nice. The hotel is very pretty and well kept. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and were the highlight of the stay. Javanese massage was very good.
