"The staff was great, but the continental breakfast wasn't that good. Also, the hotel has a slight odor, and there was no comforter, only a blanket on the bed."
"The hotel was dark and gloomy. The hallways were dirty like they haven’t been vacuumed in a long time. Our room was covered in a layer of dust. It looked like it had been cleaned and just left for months. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The staff was unprepared and not very helpful. We were able to go back in our rooms after the fire department showed up. With still no explanation. I would definitely not stay there again. I feel like the reviews online are misleading."
"Found trash in the room it’s update and new carpet fresh paint however people were smoking Marijuana for half of the night called front desk they didn’t understand what I was saying or didn’t care to know or take care of the problem if that’s your thing that’s great but isn’t my thing I will not be back"
"I’ll explain a bit about the 1 star rating but first, the positives. The front desk (owners) were very pleasant and kind when we checked in and parking was easy and plentiful. After that, I should have left instead of paying $250+ for our night in that hotel. I am actually stunned that a hotel in a college town could get to that point. I almost forgot where we were. It’s very close to having a drug motel vibe. Cracked old vinyl chairs in lobby, water stains on tile ceilings down hallway, broken vending machine, urine smell-and that’s before we got to our room! Dark stains all over carpeting, worn down furniture, filthy chairs we could not even sit in. Stains on walls, lampshades and mattresses! Sheets and towels that were gray instead of white (supposed to be white!) breakfast was bleak-oatmeal served in an old home crockpot that looked to be 20 years old, splatters on cabinets, very few choices and everything was sticky and dirty. I typically don’t leave bad reviews but after sitting with it a while, I could not let it go. The State inspector should really be called on this one."
"Loved the breakfast spread available for free every morning. Very close to casino and restaurants. Reason for 4 stars is the bed was very hard, making it uncomfortable for both my hubby and I to sleep (he normally likes firm beds)"
