"Wonderful front desk staff, very personable, helpful and attentive. Not impressed with the continental breakfast, was there half way through meal hours bread options dry & sausage not warm, many drink and food options empty. Waited and looked for serving staff to no avail. Scheduled a shuttle to cruise port, nice driver, smooth ride. However, would have been more cost effective to order uber. Located in a wonderful area pier/beach/eateries/shopping easy walk from hotel. Should the opportunity arise we would stay again."

"Queen Mary is a beautiful ship! I really appreciated the history of it! Be aware that unless you're in a suite, the cabins do not have air conditioning. Not usually an issue in Long Beach, but we happened to be there on an unusually hot day (98 degrees!). There is some air circulation, and they provided portable fans, so it wasn't too bad. We also happened to be there when a concert was going on at the nearby amphitheatre. The concert usurped the parking, so we had to park off-site. They provided a shuttle and they discounted the parking fee, so not a big deal. Just a little annoying. If you plan on staying here (and I highly reccomend it), check the concert schedule or any other events happening in Long Beach."
