"The room is spacious. I had a ocean view but it was.a harbor with fishing boat view, not a beach view. Little noisy when you open window. Clean enough. Not a brand new renovated place."

"We visited in March which is obviously low season so much of the hotels facilities - roof top bar, out door pool etc. were not available. It took the hotel a day or two to adjust to all the Clipper people but they got there. Next time they will know that from arrival night onwards the demand on the hotel will go up. "We had a great stay here in the family room. Loved being right on the water with the views of ferries, fishing boats, etc. Although the boats can be a little loud when coming and going in the early hours, the room/location itself is pretty quiet. Staff were very nice and although they don't speak much English you can communicate easily using your phone's translation apps (like Papago). Cooking utensils in the room were very limited but we loved the free fresh ground espresso in the lobby and Tongyeong has many inexpensive and delicious food options. Overall, the hotel and room are somewhat aged and faded and the amenities are quite basic, but we didn't care: the bed was clean and comfortable and the location is unbeatable. For the price it was a great deal."
