"It was difficult to get the attention of the person behind the desk when I arrived. He was probably watching soccer and it was late. Perhaps he couldn’t hear. I was no more than 4 ft. However, there was a card to call the phone number, and I called the number while I stood there in front of him. He ignored that until I yelled once beyond my loud hellos. That felt very dismissive. A woman came down to check me in and she was very friendly and very, very helpful. That initial experience however, after a day of driving, was a little exhausting. The room was clean. I needed help to figure out how to adjust the air handler because the buttons have been rubbed off (room damp and slightly musty). The tub clearly had a hole in it and was covered with some sort of rubber adhesive, so it was very unbalancing to stand because my feet kept sinking. The bathroom itself clearly needs more than paint."

"Breakfast on Tues* & Thurs* - get rid of those nasty dry weird omelets so people can enjoy showing up for breakfast, very limited selection. Better off somewhere else for breakfast on those days. The pool is strange size its basically a large warm tub, not exactly a swimming pool... more like an invite 4 people to fill a pool situation, but beaches are not far so highly recommend beaches instead. All in all the most important parts are very well done, from bed coziness to coffee w/muffins and fruit, you are in for a cozy night sleep on the go! So my 2 critiques aside... this is a nice 3 star say with a great overall rating and the staff is very nice! Read the sign that says ask for room service... its an ask don't expect it, flip a sign to opt in to house keeping towel restock services - thats a long stay pro tip. 😉 (oh and future idea for mngrs reading this, steam clean the apolstry* on the rest of the seated furniture... they seems overdue for it). Overall 4.5 long stays 4.8* star for overnighters! Parking is fine."

"I travel often to VA or NC, and always stay for a night in Brunswick. I have stayed in some dumps. This one is cheap, but very clean. No carpet, but hard floor, which is. a huge plus. airconditioner is a beast. Room is VERY big. I will stay again."
