Hotel Colee, Atlanta Buckhead, Autograph Collection
8/10 Good
"Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. My only complaint is I like total darkness when I sleep and there were several lights in the room (note to self: bring a sleep mask next time, lol). The thermostat had a light… directly above that was the smoke detector which had a blinking light located directly across from a mirror so it was noticeable from the side and front… and to my left was the alarm clock light. Other than that, no complaints about the room - loved the aesthetic… very pretty, comfy and cozy. When we arrived to the property, the lobby was flooding but, honestly, check-in went pretty flawlessly. JP checked me in and was very friendly, efficient and professional. We did eat in the restaurant and the food was a little pricey (truffle fries for $16 is crazy) and while the server was very friendly, the service was slow… it took 45 minutes to receive a steak with fries and a salad. The rooftop bar was a lot of fun and had really good drinks. We ate a dessert that was recommended highly by our server and she did not lead us wrong. On checkout, James asked about my stay and was very apologetic when I made mention of the slow service in the restaurant the night prior. I also want to mention that one of the amenities I chose the hotel for was the pool but it’s pretty small and wouldn’t work for more than 3-4 people. For a short stay, it is conveniently located with excellent staff. I would definitely stay again based on location, staff and cleanliness."
"For the price you pay for the hotel. It’s very big it looks like a suite everything was clean, so I’m not sure why other reviews have bad but the staff everybody was good and great. I will definitely be coming back in September."
