We pretty much liked everything about the hotel. It is right on the water front and the surrounding areas are just beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It would be nice if the had shower gel in the bathroom. They only provided shampoo.

Vi havde booket et værelse til 4, men ved ankomst fik vi at vide, at der ikke var noget værelse med 4 opredninger. I stedet blev vi opfordret til at betale ekstra for et andet værelse, hvor der blot manglede en enkelt opredning, som ville blive ordnet med det samme. Da vi bare gerne ville ind og hygge, betalte vi selvfølgelig ekstra for at få et værelse, der ville stå klar med det samme. Desværre måtte vi gentagne gange kontakte receptionen for at få den manglende opredning på plads. Til sidst fik vi blot udleveret sengetøj, så vi selv kunne rede sengen, og vi måtte stadig vente længe på en sengehest til køjesengen, så børnene kunne sove i køjesengen. Hele processen trak ud i flere timer, da vi konstant måtte minde personalet om den manglende seng, uden at få en klar besked om, hvornår det ville blive ordnet. Morgenmaden var desuden meget sparsom – blot lidt brød, kaffe og müsli. Alt i alt en virkelig skuffende oplevelse. Jeg kan på ingen måde anbefale Christiansminde. Det virker som et bevidst trick at tage imod bookinger på værelser, der reelt ikke er tilgængelige, for derefter at få gæster til at betale for en opgradering. I sidste ende endte vi med selv at rede sengen og bruge unødig tid på at vente på personalet, hvilket ødelagde oplevelsen og betød, at vi slet ikke fik slappet af. Hotellet tilbød os efter klage refundering af opgraderingsbeløbet, men selv hvis vi ikke havde betalt opgradering, ville der stadig ikke have været et værelse klar til 4 personer.
