"Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. "This Hotel is a little gem. Only stayed one night, made to feel welcome all the time I was there. Room excellent clean and tidy, food excellent, facilities pool etc excellent, grounds very well kept. At checkout my 6 year old asked if we could stay, if you want an honest answer ask a 6 year old. Will definitely book here again."

"We just needed a place to stop over and this hotel gave us everything we needed. A large room with a double bed and a large sofa bed for our 8yr old. A good cooked breakfast, I asked for veggie sausages and they cane no problem. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. We could of eaten in the hotel but next door was a McDonalds, which had an indoor soft play and outdoor play area- great for kids!"

"When we checked in we were not made aware that we needed to separately register our car - apparently we should have been handed / directed to a tablet to do this. Consequently we received a parking “fine” letter; however the hotel dealt with this very promptly after I phoned them about this. So be aware of the need to register your car! Great location, we chose a superior Tudor room and it was lovely. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were very spacious and felt luxurious "
