"A very nice hotel that I’ve never stayed in. I chose it because I could get a room with a kitchenette, which was nice for pre-race pasta. (We were there for a 14 mile trail run that finished at the Sheetz behind the hotel.)However, I am glad that I called ahead to ask about pots and pans and plates because they told me they do not have those in the rooms. So I had to bring my own. It was a little bit of an inconvenience. Location is pretty convenient and right next-door to a really great Goodwill store and a TJ Maxx, a Walmart and a chipotle. Totally walkable to all those things. And only eight minutes to Caledon State Park. I would definitely stay here again. I just wish they had their own pots of pants."
"While checking in I had to wait 45 mins just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. The first room we were assigned to had German roaches in the room and we had to get moved to the other side of the hotel after being offered to get moved right next door where we literally saw a German roach. I was disappointed in this property."
"Great location and view of the river. The staff were also friendly. However, the beds were hard, and the bed comforter/blanket was thin and rough. There was also a musty smell in the room, due to the building's age. The window did not open, so that didn't help with the smell or air flow. There is a desk and chair in the room, but the height of the battered chair was so low, that you couldn't use it to sit at the table (it couldn't be adjusted, either). Plenty of parking and the location to the promenade and shops were excellent."
"The pool had a cracked step that broke and cut my leg. I laid it on a towel to come back and get to show someone but it was gone. The hallway to the the bathroom from the pool is so slippery and should have some type of mat. The elevator door didn't seem like it was going to open a couple times. I was in room 208. It had the baseboard coming off the wall, the refrigerator had food still in it from a past guest, the couch had stains on it and the showerhead made a loud noise every time you turned it on. "
"Staff was in a rush, a bit sharp in conversation. No "drink upon arrival" as advertised.
They didn't provide a robe/ person. We were short one robe, despite having to enter the hall to access the bathroom. No hair conditioner offered.
The breakfast was pretty normal weekend fare (scrambled eggs with cheese, French toast with sandwich-sized bread), fresh fruit cup. No extra food offered on table."
