"Good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff both in the clubhouse and pro shop.
The accomidation is in a building above the proshop, the bar in the clubhouse (next door) handles the booking in/out. A good cooked breakfast, with cereal and fruit is served in the clubhouse from 8-10am, when we stayed food was available in the clubhouse until at least 8pm every day except Mondays.
There are EV chargers, which are a lot cheaper than any charger in Swansea. We fully charged our car overnight.
The room was clean and well furnished, the only surprise was the shower door, it had obviously been broken so there was a curtain instead which wasn't quite long enough, however it worked well.
Note: the Expedia room description states "1 double or 2 single beds", its twin rooms only."
"Unfortunately it was a little noisy outside due to locals . The work going on at the moment made the hotel look unwelcoming from the outside but fine when inside . The air freshener in the hallways may need a different sense as I found it a little overpowering.
Staff were super and very friendly."
"We had an excellent stay. We stayed in the St Teilo room, which had a lovely, private, decked area outside the room, which made for a very cosy star-gazing evening.
We twice ate at the hotel: for breakfast and the evening meal. The food was delicious and high quality. I had the pork wellington and fillet steak. Portion sizes are quite substantial. I had a small mountain of chips with my steak.
A very cosy experience in a really quiet village. Didn’t hear a sound at night.
Would definitely stay again."
"We had a lovely first visit at the Morgan’s hotel. We were attending the Paul Smith concert in the Swansea arena. It was an ideal hotel to stay with a short walk to the arena. We stayed in the bar on the way back and enjoyed a comfortable few drinks on the very comfortable leather sofas,
We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade with our room and had a suite which was huge! Will definitely stay there again"
"Had a great experience. Very laid-back vibe, but the hosts are always on hand if you need anything. Took the time to answer my questions about how to explore the local area. Recommendations were spot on. Perfect spot to explore the coast of the Gower Peninsula; the cliffs are a short drive or bus ride away. Two pubs right next door both do lovely food."
"Great location, price and staff. Parking too. We had a room for 3 adults but only had two towels and there was no hot water from the shower. The kettle also didn’t look the cleanest and had limescale. It’s perfect if you want cheap and cheerful for a night out but if you want comfort or are taking older family and friends it misses those final touches"
