"This was a very convenient place to stay for a weekend while visiting family. The room was spacious (we rented the suite) with ample room to relax. The kitchenette was very handy for making coffee/tea, etc. There are places to walk to for lunch/dinner and the restaurant downstairs (Barbacoa), however we didn't partake of onsite dining. For the price it's a great deal. I would only say the circulation in the bathroom is lacking after a shower and it got a little warm despite the AC's. There were two of them in our unit. I would recommend changing out the light bulbs in the bathroom to a cooler white and lower wattage to mitigate the temps. Other than that, we would certainly stay there again. It beats the other options."
"We came for a memorial service and our whole family came down with norovirus the next day after arrival. 20 of us after using the pool and facilities and eating in the great room. The eggs and biscuits and gravy were burned and re-used Saturday morning. Looks like they were left out or reheated for days. By synday morning we were all deathly sick. Called the MN dept of health and reported it."
"One ok thing I could say is that they had a room available on a Friday night short notice, but we quickly found out why. After a quick analysis of the room, we discovered blood drops/splatter and hair(not ours), on the sheets and pillow cases on one of the beds! Immediately I went to ask for clean bedding and/or a different room. They accommodated us after about 25 minutes of talking to a mystery person on the phone. The second room seemed ok after a much better and closer look at the beds and elsewhere. There was some kind of food splatter on the back of the bathroom door, but wasn't much and we needed sleep! The beds looked much better. The front desk person was barely able to understand English seemingly and seemed to not believe that I'd found blood in the bed. AVOID this place unless desperate."
"The room was ok, place is very old, not well maintained. Pool is shut down, has a Crack in it? Say that on your website that it is shut down, we wanted a pool. Then someone lied and said the pool in the other hotel in town was shut down, it was not, but the place was full or we would have went there. The continental breakfast is nothing hardly, and after seeing the fingernails of the desk clerk I was eating nothing at all. TV was not set up, had to come to my room to get it going, that was just by luck, no knowledge is what he was doing. First room I was given the bed was hard as a rock and towel rack was broken, asked for a different room. I DO NOT recommend this place."
