"Friendly staff, very good food but very noisy road spoiled my stay. The windows have no secondary glazing so traffic from around 5am was incessant. "

"Excellent old manor. We stayed in Mrs Smith's room. Which used to be the owners room. Plenty of space, large bay window overlooking the garden and old church behind the property. Clean and welcoming. Bathroom was large and clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. A must try for any yankee visiting from the US. Eggs are much better in England than the US. Staff was quite welcoming and friendly. There are a couple of walking trails...
