Hotels near Swisher County Courthouse

"No one was there to check us in. The room was filthy, the toilet ran constantly, the water was brown, we found ants and gnats in the room. We tried to over look the conditions because we were very tired from a day on the road but we had to leave when we found bed bugs. To make things worse the manager did not answer my any of calls. We had to rent another room for the night. The Budget Inn down the road is a much better choice. "

"Clean room just some lights don’t work "

"It was a nice cozy room. The couch was well worn and had a rip in it but overall it still gave the cozy feeling. For an indoor pool, it was not warm in the slightest. It states there is a hot tub but there is not. The pool does have a timer knob; however, if this is the hot tub feature, it's been broken for a spell. Staff is great, breakfast is warm and well maintained. "

"I understand the saying, “you get what you pay for,” but this hotel felt a bit overpriced for what it offers. The surrounding environment didn’t feel very comfortable or suitable for three women traveling together. It seems more like a place that would work well for truckers rather than families or small groups of women. The breakfast was also not very appealing for us, though it might be fine for travlers with different expectations. Overall, it doesn’t have a family-friendly atmosphere. That said, the room itself was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, which we appreciated. I hope this review helps give a clearer picture of the type of hotel this is."

"This roadside motel was better than I thought it would be, some smelly neighbors outside (cow pens), but clean and redone inside where the smell did not exist. No other amenities to speak of. I would not hesitate to crash here on a late night again."
